If you want to do less joist drilling, you can use Snake Hangers™ to run the hydronic tubing parallel to the joists quickly and easily, while still being sure to suspend the tubing the correct distance below the floor sheathing. The Snake Hangers™ go up in four easy steps:
1. Attach each Snake Hanger™ with a single ½” wood screw. Leave the screw slightly loose.
2. Position the tubing in the hook of the Snake Hanger™.
3. Turn the Snake Hanger™ 90° to lock the tubing in the hanger.
4. Tighten the wood screw to lock the Snake Hanger™ in place.
